Gym Leader rematches

After beating the game, Gym Leaders will appear at different spots in the overworld at certain times. After finding them, they will offer the player to have a rematch at the Vermillion City Arena.

Kanto leaders can be rematched after defeating the Elite Four and Johto leaders (also Giovanni) can be rematched after defeating Mt. Silver.

For the Remix Rematch teams, head to Gym Leader Rematches (Remix Mode).

Locations

Gym Leaders must be found at various locations in the overworld before rematching them.

The Johto leaders and Giovanni only appear after Mt. Silver.

Chuck and Jasmine need to be talked to after defeating them, otherwise they will not appear in their respective locations.
