Ice Mountains Map
Location of Ice Mountains in Johto.

Ice Mountains is a chain of mountains that can be accessed by the West from Route 44 and by the East from Blackthorn City.

The player will need the Golbat Boots to jump over a gap the first their attempt to cross the Ice Mountains from Blackthorn City.

There is a cavern in the North-East, which contains a deeper portion where there is a static encounter with a Froslass. If the player keeps climbing the stairs, they will reach Ice Mountains Peak.
