Johto is one of the two post-game regions in the game, along with the Sevii Islands.
WARNING: IF YOU ENTER JOHTO VIA THE TOHJO FALLS, BEFORE GOING TO GOLDENROD AND AZALEA. YOU WILL BREAK EVENTS, AND BE LOCKED OUT OF DIVE.
There are 6 badges to collect in the region in addition to the 8 badges from the main story.
The region's layout is based on its original appearance in the Generation 2 games and their remakes except for the Western part of the region which is missing. Although the layout is similar to the original games, the player's progression in the region has been changed.
