Mt. Moon is located between Route 3 and Route 4.

The first time the player goes through Mt. Moon, it is filled by Team Rocket Grunts. Once they leave, the player can choose to keep between the Helix Fossil or the Dome Fossil.

On B2F, there is an exit to Mt. Moon Square. A second entrance from Route 4 leads to Mt. Moon Summit.
