New Bark Town is a small town that can be entered from Route 29 by the West and from Route 27 by the East.
Prof. Elm's lab is located in New Bark Town, and will give Chikorita, Cyndquil or Totodile to the player's choice.

In the bottom left house is Gambler Dirk who will play blackjack with the player with a bet of ₽1,000. If the player wins 5 times then the game chances to high stakes betting, where the player can choose an amount to bet, but the amount paid is multiplied by the difference in card value at the end of the game.
