Pewter City is accessed from the South from Route 2 (After the Forest) and to the East from Route 3

This city contains Pewter City's Gym, with Brock as it's leader and the Pokémon museum. You can revive your fossils at the museum after you defeat Lt. Surge (except the Old Amber).

A scientist in the second floor of the museum will teach your Pokémon Mud Slap if you answer his questions right.

Another scientist in the fossil reviving room will teach your Pokémon Metronome.
