Location of Route 1 in Kanto.

Route 1 is a route that connects Pallet Town to Viridian City. It is the first route the player goes on. During the initial journey through the route, the player lacks pokeballs as they have to deliver Professor Oak's package in order to be given their starter set as well as unlock access to the PokeMart.
