This route connects Lavender Town, Route 11 and Route 13.

Janine, the daughter of Fushsia Gym Leader, Koga, is blocked by the slumbering Snorlax. Once the player plays the Poké Flute and either capture or defeat the Snorlax, she will invite the player back to her house.

One of the Fishing Guru lives on this road and gives the Good Rod to the player.
